For those who are wondering, I have not been able to update eFukt ever since the Cold Media server went down. Gman hasn't configured the settings on our new server so I cant update till he does so.

Despite all the constant downtime, the site is still getting a considerable amount of traffic. The site got nearly 8,000 uniques yesterday, 80% of which came from bookmarks. Which means the people who initially came to eFukt when it was first launched bookmarked it and are now returning.

This is good and bad. It's good because we obviously succeeded in making a fresh site that our visitors like enough to add to their favorites. The bad thing is...theyre all coming back to a site that appears to be dead.

Anyway, I've got a grip of killer content to add once the server is sorted. Hektik is letting me use some of their content and Yates and Mono have submitted some fucking badass clips as well. Once the site is re-launched, I'm predicting an average of around 400,000 uniques a month. This will bump our Alexa rank down below thr 50,000 mark...and if everything is running smooth...we should have a nice flow of new members coming in. So we'll see how it goes.

I also wanted to mention that if HGF goes down at any point, it most likely will be because tech support is making some adjustments to our server, so no worries.

So the reason you cant update is because what? You use phpnuke or soemthing dont you? So all that is done though the website. And I guess for uploading all you need is the IP to use ftp to upload videos? And using that same ip if you have cpanel you can get into the db using [IP address redacted]:2082 (Replace the ip with yours)

It just seems strange the site is up but your not able to update.

I use a script that Karl designed to update. The script was having issues uploading, so I uploaded manually via ftp, and then just filled in the info in the Admin panel but it still wouldnt work. For some reason the server isnt accepting information or something.

Karl explain whats wrong with it.

Ah ok. I thought it was something else. You could just edit though sql. it is kinda hard to start off with but once you know how it gets easy. Also it would be good for you to learn as this could happen again
