War with Iran

I'm not big on political issues, but I think there is a good chance we'll be going to war with Iran. Their president isn't backing down with his Nuclear program. In fact, he's boasting about it and over-exaggerating it's progress, almost as if he is trying to rub it in Bush's face. It's like he wants Bush to go to war with him over nothing just to prove what kind of country we are.

(Iran is far from producing any weapons of mass destruction, which is why I say we would be going to war over nothing.)

yeah I totally agree, although it really aint that hard to make anuclear bomb, if you have money (which by the looks of it russia is supplying (or so I;ve heard) and uranium. they have got it to around 3.5 % which is fine for power n shit, you need around 80% for weapons grade. But even if they do enrich it enough to make it weapons grade, I really doubt they would use it, nuking somewhere would cause worldwide havoc and likely fuck them up as much as anyone else, I really dont see the need for nuclear weapons to be honest, if two go off at opposing sides of the world, we go into nuclear winter for a few years and half the world dies. fuck this is abit of a rant and really doesn;t make much sense but oh well what do I care.

Even though at first I was happy with the iraq thing and I think if needed going to war over this is a good thing... In theend it lasts too long (Like iraq) and if I was in the army I would not be proud of dieing in a war like this. And if I had a son in these war/s then I would not feel like he died for a course.

But if he is rubbing it in somones face... Bush is not the man to do that too.

Nah, honestly I dont think he wants another war. The majority of US citizens already dissaprove of the Iraq war. If anything, Bush is gonna encourage other countries apart of the UN to take the lead in this war, and hopefully that would take a little attention off of Bush's ongoing fuck up with Iraq. Bush has run up such a huge deficient...if we go war with Iran I woulnd't be surprised if all kinds of riots break out in LA.

Anyway...if we go to war...everyones going to war. This issue will affect you guys just as much. It will be interesting to see what happens...28th is the deadline.

The middle-east is fucked up. I don't know that much either of what's going on but someone needs to stop these muslim wackos and the Americans have the resources to do that. Everyone knows that the US have weapons like that as well but IMO they can be trusted with those weapons more than the islamic countries who just wanna destroy everything for the fun of it. Violence brings more violence yes, but with the world being at the state it is, there's really no going back either. The muslims are pissed of at the West and I don't think that a simple apology is an option anymore.

yeah thats pretty much what it is about, trust. We can have the weapons but others cant. They just dont wanna be straight up and say 'we dont trust you towel heads with the big bombs'

I really can't see them starting another war when they are already bogged down in Iraq. Lets invade one at a time I say.

But in saying that, Iran wont wait until America is ready to attack before they carry on with their nucleuar programm. It's a tough one, but apperently there is already troops in Iran along with well developed plans for an air strike attack plan.

If Iran are actually making weapons, I really don't see the problem in it, why can't we have them and not them? I just think that the USA is trying to keep down little countries etc. Nuclear power would probably help Iran out a lot and get it into better shape and I don't see why they won't let iut happen. They've clearly only got enough for power rather than weapons so why make them halt it...

Yeah but their main purpose for nuclear power isn't electricity. I think they even denied access for the UN weapon commite (or whatever it's called) . Plus they've been threating other countries..

I don't see why that stil means they shouldn't have weapons and the means to defend themselves. Like if you were a small country and you knew bigger powers like America etc. were up your ass you'd want something to protect your people surely, nuclear power is the only way you can get anywhere in terms of intimidation and fear...

Which again could work against what im saying if they use it in a bad way, I understand and know that...

But I think America wants to gather up all the nukes from other countries before destroying their own aswell. They will gather them all up, then get rid of all of them, but if they got rid of theirs before any of the smaller countries did, then the smaller countries would start shit and threaten everyone.

Bollocks, they wouldn't give up being the most powerful nation in the world ever lol. Think about that? All the money and time they've put into makin these weapons and stil are, and they just turn around and get rid of em all?

With or without nukes they are still the most powerful nation. They have never threatened anyone with a nuclear attack yet can still maintain some form of "control".

America isn't as powerful as some of you think. USA is too dependent on other countries (China practically already runs a huge part of the US) to start with any world domination plans
That's the main point why I trust the USA. If they start playing solo and don't listen to their allies, their country will go under
