The server just went down for a few minutes..... I have no idea why.

Matt..I think it might have something to do with efukt. Its getting a fuck load of traffic. Do you know how to check the server load?

Its running alot better now.
On a side note, is MSN not letting some people sign on? I cant login with my normal address but I can with my spare one.

HGF is being soooooo slow today, iv'e just been able to walk to the kitchen, make myself a sandwich and get back in here and sit down and the page just finished loading after I sat.

I think it had something to do with highloads, as both HGF and EFUKT were slow.
Efukt has been getting a ridiculous amount of traffic and we might need to uprade.

Its going fine now, but any form of downtime is unacceptable. Ive upgraded to a managed server so that if it goes down and gman isnt around...they'll sort it out.

Same thing that happened yesterday around this time happened again. Basically both HGF and eFukt locked up for about 15 minutes.
I've emailed tech support, it might be due to high loads.

Thats odd. Gman looked into that and he assumed he had fixed it. Do me a favor Mono, PM Gman the problem so that he will look into next time he's on

That's weird indeed. The only thing I can think of is the cogent bandwidth we are on, it has a reputation for not being able to effectively peer with many ISPs. There are no code errors on HGF, neither any issues with any modules on the server. It'll probably work properly again in a few days once your ISP has cleared their cache.

We've determined that the problem has to do with the bandwidth and not the server itself. We are working with Tech Support to resolve the issue.
In addition, I've ordered another server to double up for hosting efukt & HGF. This will not resolve any of the current problems, but will prevent future problems reguarding high loads. At eFukts growth rate we will soon be using full capacity of both server.
Please bare with me on this shit.
