There are a handful of ways to hack an AIM SN.
1.Keylogger
2.Hash Stealer
3.Phishing
4.FakeLogin
5.Cracker
6.Grouping
1.A key logger is a program that will log every key press on the victims computer. So when they Type their password to login, it will be sent to you. This usually logs to a webpage or a program that directly connects to one's computer, such as a trojan. To find Key Loggers and Trojans please visit www.kirbyz.net or www.aimstuff.net . A key logger will not work if the person has thier AIM password saved.
If you need assistance with eather, please ask and maybe someone will write up a tutorial for you.
2. Hash Stealers are programs that will send you the saved aim passwords. It will only work if the passwords are saved. What it will do is go to the registry and find the password hashes. A password Hash is the saved, encrypted aim password when it is stored ont eh computer. I will describe where the Hashstealer looks for these hashes in case you want to try doing it manually with the use of a trojan.
Start>run>regedit>HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\America Online\AOL Instant Messenger â„¢\CurrentVersion\Users
Then find the name you want the password for, click on login under its tab and then look at Password1.
Once you have the hash, it is very hard to decrypt. The easyest way to go is to download Hashey's Chocolate from www.aimstuff.net under 'OTHER' downloads. Use that to add the hash to your registery, then you can log on as the name. Once you are logged in, you can change the email address of the account to yours, and then request the password when it confrims to you.
For help using Hashey's Chocolate, post and maybe someone will write up a tutorial for you.
3.Phishing is basically logging on an Offical Looking name and pretending to be AIM staff, and convince them to tell you thier password. An example of what you might say to the person, from a SN like "AOL Support" would be:
"Hello, I am a representative from AOL. We have detected a problem with your AIM account and will need your password to confirm that you are the actual owner of this account."
4.www.aimm4.tk is a Fake aim login that you can learn how to use by reading the instructions at www.carne.tk . Another good fake login program is called "Alive AIM". You send it to a friend and they login and it IM's you thier password. Im not sure where to get it anymore, but try google. If you find it please let me know and ill post it here.
5. Password crackers are programs that try logging into a screen name with thousands to millions of passwords. These are usually unsuccessful because in order for them to work fast you need to find a good exploit that will let you try. You can find crackers at www.aimstuff.net . Most are slow, or dont work and you may not even have the password on the list you use. But maybe youll find a working one!
6. Grouping is using the AOL calendar system to find the fake, unregistered email of screen names. Then you register the email and request the password to the screen name. What you do:
Go to www.aol.com and login with an AOL account. (If you dont have one PM me and Ill see what I can do).
Then proceed to www.calendar.aol.com(May work with an AIM, give it a shot)
Then click on your screen name where it appears in the upper left. Go to sharing and add names to that list. Then save and proceed. Then in the bar across the top go to mail, and if you are lucky it will bounce back giving you a fake email address to try and register. When you do, go to my.screenname.aol.com and request a password reset(Or requeste reminder by clicking the link in the aim sign on screen) and there you have it.
