I know this is a really dumb question but is it possible that 2 video cards are better than just 1 or will that not even work and/or is it even possible.

I'm pretty sure it's only possible to have one agp card. If you install another graphics card in a pci slot, nothing will happen unless you plug a second monitor into it.

ok it makes sense. I just wasnt sure if graphics cards were like ram where if you by for it goes faster.

its actually possible some motherboards have 2 agp slots but its very rare

I thought they were pci slots.

pci slots are the ones cloest to the bottem theres normally like 4 or 5 of them I think

Newer boards now come with a graphics card slot called "PCI express", which of course is a lot better than AGP. Some boards also include an AGP slot as well. Motherboards NEVER include 2 AGP slots. If you wish to run 2 monitors from one PC, check your graphics card to see if it has 2 monitor ports, if so you can configure to split the screen onto 2 monitors from the graphics card software, if you wish to use it so the same desktop is on both screens you can also do this from the GC's software. However, if you don't have 2 monitor ports you can either purchase a splitter, or replace your graphics card with a new model.
