Yes indeed, we planned on mapping out the joke throughout the day. But it goes to show the quality of our membership if you're willing to ditch a forum the majority of you have been part of for the best part of a year.

How can you say thats whack? I was very pissed off at the admin team for selling for forums to a "outsider" and also coming in, changing skin, and taking away our right to swear just so he could pull in more members which would = more cash for him...

who would stay after the place was sold to a total stranger? with no warning, no opinions from us? everything we worked for would have just went to shit, of course people would abandon it.

But dude, its not exactly "one wrong move" as you put it, no one here would want this place being sold to an outsider, if some fuck came here and put a shitty skin like that up and introduced word filters, there wouldnt be the same feel to the forums what so ever.
No one would know the owner so would have no trust or respect for them.

Moving to HGV would of sounded reasonable to me as nearly everyone knows Tom plus he is involved in the HG scene too.

I would have ditched purely because the forums looked horrible, the fictional character seemed like a dick with word filters.....the use of the vip section would have become useless and I would have lost respect for you for selling to a stranger with no garantee he would keep the forum the way it is, which is a good place.
