To give you some background on our personalities, I am Chinese American and
Niklas, my fiance, is Swedish. We both met in France while we were studying,
which is why we are getting married there! We've been living in London since
2004. Niklas is a banker and I work in marketing at Swarovski (the crystal
company). I would like the colour theme of our wedding to be ivory/white and
various shades of pink with hints of bright green as accents. The venue is a
beautiful 12th century Chateau http://www.chateaudesconde.com/ . We
definitely want the site to feel very modern, slick and contemporary though.
Maybe we can incorporate a double happiness symbol somehow?

Here are the sites which the Chateau's designer gave us as examples. they
really arent our style though - dont like the graphics and the typeface and
really looks too 'traditional':

website outline:
Homepage-(not sure what to put here besides links to the other sites - maybe
just a simple very nice graphic or a photo of us?).
Events-(as its 3 days long)
Accommodations
Transportation

Normaly I wouldnt ask for help but I aint got a clue for the design...

What ill do is email her tomorrow with all the designs that has been sent in... let her pick, then work with who ever she picks and customize it her needs

You only have till tomorrow to send in your designs!

What if I showed you what I meant in Paint. like what would be where and the best example I can do. Does that apply to this deal, or would I have to actually make the site?

Hi Tom!

So sorry - but I hadn't heard from you so I just assumed you were too
busy!!! We are already working with another designer on the project. So very
sorry!! I should have emailed you again to tell you that but things have
just been incredibly hectic.

I hope that you haven't put too much effort into it!!! I feel terrible!

all the best,
Catherine

So thats the end of that!
