The Millenium Sucked

I didn't realize it at the time cause I was only 13, but fuck, the Millenium was a fucking bust. I was re-reading some articles on all the old Y2K theories...there was so much fucking hype. They were predicting total chaos. Many religious extremist said it would be the apocalypse. But NOTHING happened. Not even a terrorist attack. The whole thing went smooth just like any other year.

Like I said, at the time this didnt mean shit to me cause I was just a kid, but had I been older I wouldve been so damn excited, and ultimately very dissapointed. The original predictions for Y2K sounded like a homegrown group's wet dream. Such a god damn bust.

Anyway, I went to Universal Studios. What did you do for Y2K?

I had the shittest time, booking a nice hotel, in england somewhere, got there, was beyond awful. Staff were shit, everything was terrible, then had loadsa arguemtns and stuff, shit time. lol.

I hid in the bunker under my house that my mum spent £30,000 building with her own hands. In the process she lost sight in one eye, 3 fingers, a leg and an arm. Looking back it wasn't really worth the effort, butn ow we have a pretty cool games room.

I didn't think about how big of a deal it could of been, but back then I was probably playing video games and stuff.

Took my school bag full of beer around to a friends, got drunk, ran around ont he streets and then this dude come up to me and said "ive just got my shoes nicked" and he was all fucked up and beaten lol

I went to London with my dad to wach the fireworks display, and we ate curry flavoured pop corn

I remember it... I remember loads of Jehovah's Witnesses coming to my house saying it was going to be the end of the world for sure..... But they still keep coming to this day....

It was a big let down... the Y2K bug was meant to be big... But only thing I ever read taht happened was this guy got a million pound bill from a video shop saying he was 1000 years late with a video.

Apart from that... Nothig much would happen... everything is all normal... Same ill not get to see the next Y3K would prob be more fun.

Went to a firework show with my family. Said "Oooh" and "Ahhh" a lot.

Stayed in, got drunk with my mates...

I seriously sat at home in my room scared as shit haha, I thought we all about to die.

went to a big hall with entire collection of family and friends. there was music and fireworks and crap.

didn't get drunk though...hadn't encountered the evils of alcohol at that stage. yeah I guess it was a bit of an anticlimax...but still something cool to say that you've lived through.

I was waiting for the end of the world, but it didnt show.

Went to london to watch the fireworks but came back before 12 because my sisters dad got pickpocketed and he was pissed off (H8 that guy) Soooo probably playing computer games or some shit

I can't remember what I got up to, I was only 10 years old. Fuck me it's went quick.

I'd just turned 10, I remember going to bed early and being woken up for it. We went up onto some hill to watch the fireworks from the skytower, but it rained so I didn't see shit.
