I found this website where you can do contests, head to head, group competitions, or do logos and such for businesses for money.....don't know if you already knew about it or not, but thought I would post it anyways...

I found it last night....I thought it was pretty cool.....I put together one last night real quick and entered a beginner contest.....it was called "giants among us"

I had to show one giant object among other regular sized objects.....could be anything....here's what I did....first real photoshop project..:)

There's some real amazing stuff on there, the content gets worse as you go through the pages so yeah theres some terrible pieces. But some of the manips are sick.

Poor site design though :(

some of the shit sucks, especially in the beginner contests....but there is also some creative stuff on there....not so much on the advanced stuff....but some of the corporate stuff pays around $150.....Some of the stuff people design for those get pretty creative
