I cant beleive all the hate for House Of 1000 Corpses/ Devils Rejects. I fucking love those movies. Worst horror movie.....pretty much anything thats had good theater runs in recent times. If someone tells me "Oh man, you got to watch it, its so scary" it usually sucks ass

I only saw the japanese version, Ju-on, and it was fucking terrible! I saw it on my birthday 2 years ago and everyone in the theater was fucking laughing at how stupid it was. Its funny because the director of the film sat in for a showing the week before at this theater and I can only imagine how he felt when the whole audience was laughing at how stupid his film was!
Says enough I guess, The Grudge was 100 times worse than Ju-on.

Anyone who said The Ring sucked is wrong, very well derected and had me on the edge of my seat alot, also freaked me out quite abit.
Ring 2: Ummm Fucking awfull!
Cabin Fever was Okay, I can't see why anyone would say it was the wrost ever made? Surley theirs worse.
Dark Water : Well put together, Not excactly Scary, but it had a creepy concept to it.
The village: Considering the hype, This may just be the worst movie EVER!

Not Scary At all,
Horrible ending, and justs seemed like a very rushed film.
The worst one I have seen in my oppinion is Halloween 2, So so boring.
But some movies you all have to rent...
The descent : Wicked cool movie, The scariest movie I have ever seen.

Fear Dot Com: Not very well advertised but pretty scary stuff, original Concept.

Does anyone remeber that program Courage the Cowardly Dog?
That was a scary program even though it's not meant to be, very very depressing.

I thought feardotcom was pretty poor, seemed really weak for a horror movie.
I loved that show, it was so surreal for a kids show.

My thoughts exactly. The Ring was awesome. It's so far from the worst horror movie its not even funny. If anything, its more like one of the best horror movies. It really was freaky and creative, even if it was a US remake..
They made such a big mistake in having the original Japanese creator direct The Ring 2. Gore Berbinski could've done so much better.

What's all this hate for The Village for? I loved that movie. I think the problem was that it was advertised to be a horror movie in the previews. They tried to make it look like the scariest movie of the year when in reality it wasn't a horror movie at all. It shouldn't even be in this thread. It was deeper than the typical "killer/monster/zombie on the loose horror movie" it was more of a thriller/drama than anything. I thought Shamayallan did very well directing and Adrien Brody did awesome in it. He's a good actor. People just went into the movie with the wrong mindset, they went into it wanting to be scared, wanting to be on the edge of their seat but it made them think and it only pissed them off.
Now Cabin Fever, that's a turd.

Legand was the worst, I got sucked in cause the cover looked awsome but the movie looked like a film school drop-out made it. Its funny to watch bad acting tho.

I'm not saying it was bad, but I was disappointed when I first saw the original Excorcist. I think it's overrated.

It had a completely fresh idea on the zombie movies completely, yet it's so logical. Men will want to use women to procreate and survive. It's awesome and the Zombies weren't slow-moving dolts either, they were fucking scrappy bastards.
