yep, it came yesterday. I <3 it. (DVC30)

while we are speaking of cameras, my friend is thinking about getting a Canon GL1, or GL2. he was wondering what the major differences were between the 2 cams.

GL1 - pretty shitty, but cheap and still 3ccd
GL2- Better but not amazing low light, better audio, better manual controls
VX2000 - good low light, not much bigger, and better chips. Usually cheaper than a GL2.

Audio is awful compared to most cameras and so is the low light. It isn't really an awful camera, but for a little more you could get something a lot better.

no problem...
things so far:
the fucking nightshot is amazing (b&w)
just looking at the lcd sreen, you can notice how much better it looks than a normal everyday cam.
the handle is a chick magnet.
it is acutally smaller than I thought it was going to be.
and Ive only uploaded the footage in that little edit, quality is looking good so far.

yeah guys this camera is good so far. I haven't got to take it out on an "official" filming session yet, but I want to this weekend.
Cullen: I got a tripod, carrying case, and some cleaning shit/lense covers.
Kuffi: I spent $1630 total, including shipping.
I will post a screenshot later on, I don't have any good footy to take a screen of, so don't expect nothing too cool.
