Well, I just got back from Taste of Chaos 2006 and let me tell you my view on it.

First of all, It was in Camden, NJ.

The bands from start to finish were:

Funeral For a Friend
As I Lay dying
Atreyu
American Eyes
Story of the year
Thrice
Street Drum Corps
Deftones

In between each band there were some myspace bands also, which were pretty good.

We orginally had seat tickets but me and my friends snuk into the pit so we had a good time. The music was great and there were alot of people moshing and crowd surfing. It was gettin really gay though when people would start to mosh, it would turn into a skanking pit. Now, moshing is one thing, but when you have all these fags throwing fists and doing karade kicks, it just gets so gay and un fun. There were alot of people gettin hurt and security had to take alot of people out. People were under age drinking and smoking weed and all down there. I got some awesome ass pictures of some bands which I will post soon. The music was fucking amazing though and It was one of the best time's I had.

Best bands there were: As I Lay dying and Story of the Year. They put on such a great performance. The others were good but these guys, damn.

I thought I would just tell you guys and see if you guys had any questions for me or anything. I also wanted to know if anyone else went to a Taste of Chaos around you and what bands played cause a few bands that were on the tour didn't come to NJ.

I wouldn't mind seeing As I Lay Dying and the Deftones, but I'd hate to put up with the rest of those bands.

Wtf is a 'myspace band'?

LOL yeah well it was like 2 am over here when I wrote that "review" and I was madd tired. I was going to write a review for all the bands but blah, who would read it?

As I lay dying had some fucking awesome beats. The bass hit so hard you can feel it in your stomach. As in, if you had an empty stomach, you would have threw up, LOL.

Story of the year just pumped everyone up cause their music was more on the punkish side and they were jumping up and down alot and people got hyped and did alot of moshing and skanking.

Thrice, their performace took forever. They sang like 8 songs and it took FOREVER! The old thrice is better so I really didn't like them to much.

Deftones were alright. The singer had his ass crack showing the whole time which was kind of annoying. I always liked deftones though so I can't say anything bad about them but they put an alright show on.

Atryu was fucking awesome also.

Wtf is a 'myspace band'?

haha, I kinda named that myself. They had 2 stages there and one stage had the big Taste of Chaos poster in the BG and then the other had a Myspace.com poster. The people playing where the myspace thing was kept saying, "Go to out myspace, Thank you myspace for supporting us" and all that shit. They were like local bands I guess that myspace sponsered them or something, I dunno.

Therfore, Myspace band. :D

Sounds great. I would have loved to see As I Lay dying, Atreyu and Thrice, and would have had to find something entertaining to do through the others.

Anyone going to download [UK] this year?
