ah...I noticed I watch the simpsons less and less, But I still like the show.

New Simpsons episodes are shit. theres no two ways about it.
seasons 1-3 were okay, bit dodgy but the show was still trying to find its feet.
seasons 4-6 it peaks, awesome humour and storylines (kamp krusty, mr plow, etc) after season 7 it just started going slowly downhill. what is it now, like season 16 or some bullshit?
I watched one the other day, Homer gets yet another job as a priest and starts marrying people illegally and Patty turns out to be a lesbian. I was like WTF. talk about scraping the dirt where the bottom of the barrel used to be.

The simpsons ruled, till season 6, 7.. I dont know.
Now, they're trying to be polemic as fuck, and it doesnt work anymore. It was ok before, cause they were polemic in a "natural way".
Family guy, its pretty good, but its not anymore on tv. American Dad its pretty good, more politicial, but still good.
Futurama is the most UNDERRATED cartoon ever.
ps. I think that the simpsons ripped off a family guy episode, when peter injured and he has to do its work. Well, in a Treehouse episode, homer killed the dead and started to do its work, I dont know what episode came first, but sure its a ripoff

I love all thos sorta shows, Simpsons, Family Guy and Futurama (plus a fair few more)
I like the simpons as when they make fun of something its really subtle but still funny, where as Family guy shoves the joke right in your face EG "Thats more disturbing than the cartoon I watched the other day" Cut to bigs bunny being shot LOL.. classic..
All are great.. love them all.. now shut up, get drunk and watch in peace

Have to agree with liam, simpsons is going downhill but it used to be brilliant, I love watching the old episodes back because I find so many more jokes in them now im older, it works on a lot of levels. I think family guy is by far the best though.

Screw u, like somoen said its the most underrated cartoon around. Its sooooo good, so much clever shit involved, the animation kicks the ass off all others and story lines and humor rule.

I like simpsons use to watch it all the time I just only watch it now if I see it on when im watching tv. Family guy is fucking funny but I got bored of it because one time a friend of mine made me sit and watch continues episodes on dvd like all day after that I thought it pretty much sucked. I got all the futuramas though on dvd futurama is the shit!

In my opinion south park pwns all, the simpsons jokes are more appealing to younger people I feel. Someone saying "eat my shorts" doesnt really get a laugh out of me, like it would have when I was 10

Same here. Simpsons was funny when I was 13 but as I got older it lost its appeal. I love Family Guy now.
yeah I kinda agree with Weak on that one...
but it's a habit, I will always turn down a show for simpsons becasue I somehow in someway figure out how I relate to that episode...like if I failed a test in school, that night bart will fail a test and repeat his grade, it's sooo weird, but it happens to me...but yeah simpsons are awesome and family guy too...
