anyone know a good program I can capture frames from ASF files?
I just DLed 2 and they dont work

Try Virtual Dub, or VirtualDubMod MPEG2

If you have Windows Media Player I think you can go to Tools>Options>Video Performance>Video Acceleration then turn it to none,then you can take screenshots
