Incase you dont know what augmented reality is, here's a definition:

"Augmented reality (AR) is a field of computer research which deals with the combination of real world and computer generated data. At present, most AR research is concerned with the use of live video imagery which is digitally processed and "augmented" by the addition of computer generated graphics"

My video is augmented with a 'copy' of myself.

I liked the video because it was different. But I gotta say that I could do all those effects in Premiere except for the bluegreen effects with the glasses. Though it might be that whenever someone says that something is edited with AE, I usually expect a lot from the video so that's probably not fair against your video. But the footage itself was nice. I liked the flow of it and the filming. The spots were nice too. Good job!

Ok, do u actually know what your talking about? The After Effects part was masking and the glow effect on the glasses, both of which are far from horrible, I'd like to see you try and sync 2 video clips, one masked with an mp3 track overlaid...

This video was not intended to be an AE fest of wonderful motion graphics, that would defeat the concept and be a hard task to achieve a high quality end result.

As for the editing, there are a couple of glitches, but they are part of the augmented reality, hence it not being a perfect world...

Save those kind of comments for a video that needs them...

I mixed up neKa's first post into your's, sorry about that. I didn't notice that you didn't mention AE at all in your post until afterwards :D

You say you have done far better masking and cloning...

Well first, there is no cloning in my video, and secondly, this video did not require adavanced mask use....

At least have something to show for your boasting that you are 'far better'...

Extazy, you have just proved that you are not 'far better' by that comment.

Yes, there is no cloning, its masking! Not that hard to work out I thought, seeing as I stated in in one of my previous posts.

And as for the concept of the video, it might have been abit hard for you to grasp...who knows..

He used multiple video layers. It can be a cool effect, but the drawdown is you have to sacrafice creativity with your camera work. It would be rather difficult to achieve this effect if the camera was in motion.

I didnt get where you were going with this movie but I liked the break dancing. Keep up the good work

There's a difference between constructive criticism and being a cunt. I think you're being the latter.
I don't know what's your beef, but if you're gonna claim you're better and all that, I think you should have something to back yourself up. I checked that video in your link and found nothing special.

I'm not gonna say anything more 2 u after this post cos its not worth it.

"and that video has nothing to do with anything":

Hmmm, if you thought about it, the concept of augmented reality and what happens at the end of the video, then it has everything 2 do with an augmented reality.

I liked it man, a little boring... but the breakdancing part was cool.

Props.

The effects were nice, but the video was far too slow-paced [didn't fit the music], and I wasn't a big fan of your running  It probably sounds like I'm missing the point, but for me, those flaws made it boring to watch for me. Good job though.

I thought it was pretty creative, I pretty much loved it all..
I thought it would of been better with a little more breakdancing at the end, it seemed like that part was too short.

Dragged on too long imo. And I know it was all in the concept and stuff, but the flaws in there just made it not work for me. Sorry man. Needing cutting down alot too fit with the pace of music like someone said.

good video overall, I liked the effects.

only thing I could complain about is on 2 of the shots where the guy dissolved away, you could see a change in traffic somewhere in the shot.
