I think we use that one at college (or one very simular) Good manual options like, focusing and exsposure and hte touch screen is cool but gets annoying to watch things back.

But when we used it too film our triller intro for media, it fucked u like 3 times on us. :S hopefully that was a one off.

I bought this, it arrives on monday.

Does anyone have any experience with this camera or anything negative to say about it in terms of its functions?

I don't mean things like "Should have got a better one!" Because I only needed something basic.

Thanks.

I would've thought you could've got something similar for much cheaper - more like £250. I'm suprised this had no night vision mode as it was a Sony, that Super Night Shot mode is a joke. Anyways it's good for a starter camera.

Is it good?

Hell yeah it's good. Very nice little camera and gives out almost dvd quality. The camera on it is also 1 MP. Isn't good but it's not bad either for a video camera.

Bullshit really, bit more optical zoom, remote control. But HC40 has 1,1 megapixels instead of 0,8megapixels (HC19 and stuff). But I don't trust HC40 and some other models because loads of them get problems with charging batteries after a year which sucks bad.

That one cost me 335, so don't spend more than 450 unless you wanna get something better in terms of a shitty DV camera..
