An Additional Section to HGF

Well I was thinking, since I havn't really done much modding yet, I thought I would try thinking of something to help HGF and it came too me..

What about a section/page with up to date news, regarding HGF, HGD, HGV and other HG related things?
The section could feature information on the latest news about groups; e.g. new sites, new major video releases, DVD information, information on groups that have become dead, information on the latest faceoffs, new updates on HGV, HGF, HGD, the latest contests etc, etc.

Also every couple of weeks or so, there could be a article, about; "HG History." By this I mean the story about when HGF was created, the story of when say; SPDST started, the DR and Retardz first meet up and how it started, where it goes from here, past information on events.. regarding groups and the media (with the groups acknowledgement of course) and anything else.

These are just a few ideas I came up with just now, I am willing to write up all of this if needed, if the idea went through that is. People could just email me with some of the brief information or whatever, if I will be typing up an article say. Although maybe someone else here, who is better than me at writing out articles could do it??
But.. would this work?

I think it's an awesome idea myself and I think it will work, if it's somewhat possible to do..

I thought it would be best to put this in the feedback section, too see what everybody thinks of the idea and could maybe suggest more ideas.

btw, we're giving photoshop it's own section. Matt said he was gonna do it today..

this may-moy not work but I think we should have a wrestleing subforum so we can talk about favorite restlers and the events such as no way out wrestle mania and put review's up there and results and story lines just an idea nothing speacial what do you think?

Whether matt intended to make ps its own catagory I dont know, if so he can do it later

To be honest I'd like a wrestling sub-forum myself.
But Im just not sure it's really needed, maybe we could try it out for a few weeks and see how it goes?

ok well I was just putting my view forward well couldn't we try it for let's say a month and see how it turns it could work and it could suck but let's give it a try.

Maybe stupid but in a few years we could release a book about homegrown and its origin/history or whatever.

If you worked non-stop from now until it was done, how many hours would it take?

Yeah I know, I kinda meant just a few headlines regarding HG related things, which could be updated daily.
Now I think about it though, maybe it would just be best to leave it to HGV

Also, I definetly wouldn't mind a wrestling subforum, I'd make sure its used.. but I can see why some people don't want it.
It would kinda be like the pr0n section, its not exactly used all the time, but alot of people have benefited from it.. maybe it would work out.

The arcade is compatible, its just the mod needs addign again as we lost it in the upgrade. Will be back soon though.

I couldnt say how long, cuz problems pop up all the time, and then I have to test everything etc.

Im off to pub aswell at 7 so Ive only got another hour of programing time but tomorrow ill update ya on whats going on
