I don't know about this movie.. Even though I will most likely enjoy it because I love the animation effect over it. But Waking Life sounds ace to me. I really want to see that. I'm gonna buy it.

Waking Life is something that you have to pay attention to. The majority of the movie is different characters spouting off philosophical theories. I loved it, but it's not for everyone. A few people I've shown it to either lost interest or didn't "get it".

I have another question:
Who of you has ever read the Novel rom Philip K. Dick?
Anyone who has, knows that no matter what the look is, this film will be fucking awesome-at least if they don't fuck up the original story too much.
P.K. Dick is one of the best American Authors I know and he wrote many stories that were filmed, more or less true to the original story:
Blade Runner - book title: Do androids dream of electric sheep? Although the story was changed for this film, Dick loved the look and the mood of the Movie and backed this film until his death 4 months before it left post production.
Total Recall - short story title: We can remember it for you wholesale.
The Truman story - book title: Time out of Joint - This film is so sad. It's a funny story that doesn't grasp the dark mood of the original book at all.
Minority Report (sadly fucked up from Spielberg-this awful good ending doesn't fit the story at all, and Tom Cruise sucks in his role) - short story: Minority Report
Paycheck (Woo made a weak action film out of a good short story) - story title: Paycheck
Barjo (Spanish movie) - original book: Confessions of a crap artist
A Scanner Darkly is the film most true to the original story.
