I used to be able to do it through windows movie maker..ut ma pc aint connecting to camera...

what can I do??

yeah I have it its USB 2.0 I think/firewaire

Im a bit drunk so ....sorry lol

this is what comes up on windows movie maker...

USB isn't firewire. Buy a firewire, then capture.

lol laura ma best female bud. Well I have been able to get footage of ma camero to ma pc with this cable the end is like new style USB but like curvy, and the end to the camera is like and M sideways....

and ofcoarse am "tipsy/drunk" football champions league night! doooh

I am 99% shue I have the right cable, how will a get my pc to recognise the camera, I hate addign new hardware...

yup thats them 2 I have and I have 2 cables too which fit in that and my camera.....

What do you mean? No matter where you posted it, It will still be the same amount of people viewing it.

I thin you are am jsut not 100%, so TOM you got any plans on what ti could do ???about capturing the image, is jsu tlike ma pc doesnt have a scoobie about the camera

Okay.

1) Plug the Firewire cable into your Firewire port on your camera.

2) Plug the other end of the Firewire cable into your port in the back of your PC tower.

3) Turn the camera on the "Play" Mode.

4) Windows should recognize and try to install the drivers for you.

5) When thats over and it says, "You're software is now ready to be used", Open WMM and click, "Capture from video device."

6) Go through the process of where to save and all that and then when it should come up to the little screen on the right with the play and stop, rewind and fast forward buttons. You can control the tape from there.

7) Once the tape is in place, Just hit Start Capturing and then Hit Stop when you're done. Should be there for you after you hit Finish.
