I found a working account and I use win xp sp2
the account works 100 %
I put the steam into firewall exceptions list
and when I want to download hl2 through steam
its taking 4 days
at a fucking 8 kb's when I have a 1.8 lan mb
wtf?
I remmeber half a year ago I was downloading at 500 kb"s
and now its mehh...
any help?

Well, since its actually downloading, but slowly, I have nothing to suggest.. apart from; is your internet working properly??
Only thing I can suggest is reinstalling, then im out of ideas

yeah im downloading files at 180 kb's
but the hl2 at 3.6 kb's
I reinstalled and everything
I even did a format
I want to play!!!!!

lol im pretty sure its just your connection to valve is sucking,
like
there are streets that connect big cities to big cities then little places get branched off
in your case, you are on a small place, that has to travel to other small places in order to hook up to the big city, making the commute to that city super slow.
It also may be that Steam's highways are congested.
