The guy was one of my heros when I was 9 and I just got to skate with him at a demo. Not much to say besides the guy was a fuckin ledgend.

Ye im sorry for his death n all, but I just watced 1 of his clip on the ZY website..all he wa doing is some shitty grinds and some kickflips..I dont see why this guy is a legend? is it because hes black?

joe, you just don't understand the concept of death, when someone famous dies, all their belongings, memories, skills, and etc, become highly recognized. like an artist, or a poet.
now, if I was to die tomorrow, I wouldn't be highly recognized at all.

Im not a skater at all, and I've never appreciated this guy as a hero
But eventhough he wasnt idol to as many people as M.L.K, Gandhi or Winston Churchill he was a hero none the less.

That sucks man. I loved that movie KIDS that he was in. RIP.
One of my teachers died two nights ago. He was 77. He has been teaching at my school sice it opened 40 years ago.
