ok a friend of mine uses Elements..another friend downloaded a copy of preimer pro and burnt me a copy...psersonally I want 2 purchase edidting software..so anyone want 2 help me out with what *They think is the best 4 editing, and state why"
also I have 2 buy a fire wire port 4 my comp..and I found one that comes with elements...for like 178 or something CDN...but anywho...

Well I am a film student. And Adobe Premiere Pro is used at our campus and the branches. Mostly on macs, but I use it here at home as well on my PC. It's not the easiest thing to learn, but it's the most effective.

Elements is just Premiere stripped down to basics I think.
Always get Pro.

PC -- premiere pro
MAC -- final cut pro
both industry standards.

I have adobe preimer on my lap top and its great.. its soo small and its quick too but I do perfer my pro on my desktop..

Haha why would you say that? Elements is just a basic version of Pro so that it can be sold for cheaper. And seeing as noone pays for software anymore that kinda defeats the point.

Its still better ot have smaller apps on laptops man.. and if u want more effects just add the ones u want..
