I'm interested in hearing them because I was a big fan of Blink back in the day and still fucking love Boxcar Racer...but it seems to be that (for want of a better example) this is just another Fightstar, ie, the band consists of a washed-up frontman and The Rest.
Plus in some of the press releases Tom DeLonge sounds like an absolute cock. I quote:

Don't like them.
Firstly because I just don't enjoy the music.
Secondly because he kinda subliminally put down Mark in an interview I read with him in Kerrang. And I always liked Mark better anyway.

Dude it doesn't take a genius to work it out, it was obvious from the moment they said the word 'hiatus'. They split right before a charity tsunami gig? That's such bad management that the only way it could've happened was if two or more members of the band couldn't bare to be on stage with one another.

If I was Mark, I'd be pretty pissed off too if my band buddies formed a band behind my back not telling me anything about it (Box Car Racer)
Besides, I always found Mark more sympatethic

But I always apprieciated Travis' drumming, and felt that most of the songs where Mark sang were more mature than Tom's. It might just be because Tom's voice sounds like a whiny bitch who's constantly stuck at age 14.

It's starting to grow on me...shame about Tom's vocals though. For some reason they seem even more pronounced and whiny than they ever used to be.
I'll definitely check out the album.
