Pretty much straight up Im just looking for something to upload footage

This one I thought it would be easyer to maby upload footage from the Sony Vx3 that I bought a couple months ago plus my school has Cannon Gl1s for our film production class I use, pretty much I dont know shit at the moment so Im in need of help.

thats a pretty good pci card.. 4 pin and 6 pin..

I could be wrong, but could you use the GL1s to capture with your vx3?

Id guess that but I wont know probably tell around August due to I wasnt able to join the class due to a suspension, so I wasnt ever able to use them.

yeah, then I'd say just buy that thing you posted. My sony viao has one built in, and the quality wont be as good as mini dv with firewire, but for the price it's good.
