Im not too familiar with Nero, but basically you want to just put movie files (wmv, avi etc) onto a CD disc?
If so, look for something along the lines of a "data disc" or something like that. You wont be able to like play them on a standard DVD player though, which you prolly know :P

I'm actually burning a data cd.

But the problem is that the file is bigger than 700mb and the software wont burn it eventhough the CD is 875mb. So that grinds my gears. I updated my firmware, configured the options but nope... the software still says that the CD doesnt have enough space.

:/ sucks...

I use NERO and never have problems. I burn stuff everyday with it.

Maybe theres probs with your CDs. What is the file type though?

I use Rimax CD-R multi speed(dont know the actual speed)

And the file type on the movies doesnt matter... NERO just wont let me burn more than 700mb...

Well go into the settings then. I think I remember you can set it to AUTO detect the CD size or you can pick the type. maybe you clicked 700 without knowing. Also check Disc Info

"To overburn, you have to burn in either ´Disc-At-Once´ or ´Disc-At-Once 96´ write mode. This is not possible in multisession mode."
