I know at the moment this is jsut preproduction as the final product is not out yet, but maybe by handing couple free dvds to street teams or something.....Stick the dvds posters and shit.
Another great way to get the product out there is to writte or even send copies of the dvd to local papers, national papers and ask them to review it. Or even to get some 1 an interview..that would get you alot money which you want, but problem is you wont share with homegrowners-

As a producer its a fucking disgrace you dont have many ideas on how to market this yourself.

Its not like this is a big suprise that its finished. You've had months to plan a decent marketing launch.

thats good if true, shame watching a trailer dont sell dvds, they need to love it and buy it. so maybe put some of the better stuff in the trailers next time as I feel the one you posted was mostly filler.

Not sure if I commented on this buttttt....Footage is good, quality is bad. I think the editing sucked also. The music didn't even match up.

it's compressed video. when you're going to get over 100,000 downloads of the file, you can't have the file be a 132 mb quicktime movie. some of you guys need to stop complaining about shit you know nothing about.

you probably exported the vidoe as a .wmv from your editing program. this takes no converting.

I converted it from .avi to .wmv, but that takes no converting? What the fuck?

Just because you took a shitty quality .mov and turned it into an even shittier .wmv doesn't mean you know more than anyone else. In fact it shows your ignorance and almost anyone here will back me up on this.
