Basically you say you work for a company, order a sample of whatever product you want and they send it to you if you play your cards right.

Okay I read over that e-book. I dont know how legal that would be. You're sorta conning them by saying youre someone your not. At any rate, I doubt it would work. I think they would want to see something verifying that you are who you say you are..

If your in the UK then you could just get yourself a limited company (Anyone can really) and then just use that as your company I guess. I did it afew years back with a friend just to get a MACRO card

IF you say your someone your not, to get something in return for it, its fraud. Very Illegal.
This is a very tame form of fraud, but fraud none the less. I also urge you guys to keep in mind that companies can go after you civically rather then criminally. Civil court is used to settle personal disputes and the burden of proof is significantly less to find you guilty then in criminal court. Judge Judy is an example of civil court for the American readers. Most companies require you send your request for their product on official letterhead of the company your ordering it for, along with a business card and a business contact number.
Can you get away with it? Most likely. Would I fuck with a major company who has deep pockets to pay for legal fees if the decide to pursue it when I have almost no money..... fuck no.

I know a guy that does this, he got himself a 70" TFT TV monitor out of doing this. And DVD players and shit. But im pretty sure its illegal, as its classed as fraud.

haha...it would be easy to do....you can get a business license for anything...and never actually have to use the license...just use it for free goods...not a bad idea really..

Wise words... Listen to them. You get somethig like that on your record... very very hard to get a good job with that on your CV

Bad thing is, I checked, and the cameras you can't get samples. You have to pay a small fee
