k, just bought this mic. yesterday for my camera and haven't tested it yet since I have been busy with school and work today. Just wanted to know if any of you guys ever heard anything on these mics or ever used THIS mic before. It's the Sony Handycam ECM-HGZ1 Gun Zoom Microphone. It was about $70 US and is supposed to be awesome. It has a ZOOM feature and a GUN feature. I have pictures below of it on my camera, which btw makes my camera look more core. The camera is a Sony MiniDV Handycam DCR-HC40.
