Its sad, but it's weird we put more effort in saving a small whale then we put in rescueing some people.

They should just have shot on site, saved money and would make a nice meal.

We also spend billions just to house and feed all the people on death row who sit around through 20 years of appeals before getting executed. The US spends more housing criminals that it pays our military lol.

Hey is it true everyone in finland is related to each other?

Do to the fact it is so shitty no one would want to move by there own free will?

I read it in a news paper.

Hahhaha what? :D

Your probably thinking of Iceland or something. It's not much but we're still more than 5 million people here in Finland.

And what the fuck "shitty" haha. All the countries in Scandinavia are pretty much the same, I don't think that Finland is any more shitty than Sweden or Norway :D

Is this article somewhere on the web? I love reading about what people think about Finland :D
The most common things people believe are that there are polarbears on the streets in Finland. Or that Finland is a part of the Sovjet haha, at least we don't get any terrorism or any of the big world problems here because people believe we live here like some 10th century barbarians

Doesn't Finland have the highest suicide rate in the world though?, probably why you have only 5million people :D

Haha might be. I only know one girl who killed herself in high school. But that was from anorexia though.

Anyway me saying "I ONLY know one.." probably speaks for itself haha

haha. My EX was from Finland but lived in Sweden. Her dad used to hate me because he said I was not man enuf to eat this food he made... It was Pure blood with bread or something.... He said it was some finnish custom. Well I am not with her anymore...

I think Finland is great though. Cold but great. Way better then England

lol, might be something they eat somewhere in Lapland, dunno

Stereotypes are the best thing ever. Now I pretty much know that Finland is a shitty incest country, where it's cold and where people eat blood, and where polarbears run around in the streets killing soviet soldiers that patrol on our streets :D

But you're right that it's cold here in the winters, I think it's like -20C out there right now, but then again we get +20 to +30 in the summers too

edit: I just googled the highest suicide rates in the world and I got one list with Lithuania and one article with South India topping the charts. I'm pretty sure that the suicide rates are high here too though. Having bands like The Rasmus here, I don't blame them who do it at all

haha. Well Maybe it was something in Sweden... I cant remember now it was 4+ years ago. But they said it was normal hahaha Image file not present in the recovered backup.

But I thikn the suicide rate is due to how dark it is there... When I was there last it was dar close to all of the time.... And that is just depressing

Yer that's what I heard about, my mate said it was surreal, he went in summer and it was 1am and was bright as day outside.

Yeah I second that. It really is depressing. Late autumn is the worst because then there's not even snow to light up the ground and the trees when it gets dark. In Lapland (the north) they call the darkest time of the year "Kamos", when the sun doesn't rise at all up there. But then again around midsummer the sun barely sets at all, and actually it doesn't do it when you go to the northern most parts of the country

My Ex took me to this one place which was great... it was in the north (I think) and she had a cabbin there. But it was one of the only places you could see tehse sort of fireworks in the sky. she said it was something to do with the sun and it made these strange lights and colours in the skt. I can tthink of the name of it now but it was amazing.

But I might be wrong it may have been in Sweden... I forget where I was at the time :D

You can see those in Lapland (both the swedish and the finnish side). I've seen them once too, that was great!
