You know on professional shows like (Talk shows and Jackass) how they have those little tiny microphones cliped to their shirts so like many people cannot see them? I'm looking for a few microphones that we can buy that are so small and have the wires or whatever that you can hide underneth your clothes and record stuff. Say we wanna go into public and go up to someone and ask them something but we dont want the camera all in their face just to hear them. I don't know what they are called so I can't show anyone a picture or anything but I know it's like a wireless microphone or something. Please, anyone that help me would be loved.

Just put the wires under your shirt and put some headphones near the mic, that way if anyone sees wires they think it's from the phones, thats what we did...

Fuck wireless mics.. They are overpriced and too delicate.
Just get a little tape or digital recorder (or even a minidisc recorder if anyone still has one)
Hook up a lapelle (clip on) mic to it and record.
Then just do an anologue capture and sync the audio with the video in your editing software.
It will cost you like 1/4 of the price.

Most MP3 players have one now. And some have a plugin for a mic... plus you can pick them up for £20 now

A few years back I rented some lav. mics from my local cable access stations...I think they were worth a $1000 all in all. The quality was awesome...but youre honestly better off saving your money unless youre really serious about filming and stuff. You also need to make sure your camera has the proper inputs.
