So I think this idea was thought up in the other thread, but I'd like to see it actually work.

Here's the 411, ya'llz.

Step #1. Groups donate to buy a square for HGF.com.

Step #2. Someone good with webdesign will make a page to be hosted on HGF.com, with a link to a video, and the sites of those who did contribute. The top of the page will have a large HGF.com banner, with the groups who donated for the button below.

Step #3. We all who donated get a few more viewers, and HGF.com gets some hitz.

If this is stupid, tell me to GET BACK TO WORK!

ok, that's not how it works. you have to offer up the money, then wait for more offers. if everyone says "I'll throw down if someone else throws down", then absolutley noone will.

If enough people donate to get to 100, you can all send to my paypal, and I'll use my paypal to pay for the square.

Great idea, this could bring massive hits to the entire scene, and everyones websites and maybe even exposure.

Cool idea, but just to let you know, that websites traffic isnt that great. At the end of the month you should check your weblogs and post how much traffic they sent you.

Well, they get mad hits but the owner is flogging the remaining pixels at outrages prices. If I recall correctly they are going at around $30,000 per 10px.

I know it's a gamble, but IF it does take off and gain in popularity, getting in at the begining is awesome cause you're link is there thoughout the whole hype.

If it fizzles, then oh well. It's basically an experiment for me.

No. 1 pixel is $1. but you can only spend 100 at a time and no less (But more)

$1 per pixel, but the minimum is a 10.10 square, which = $100.
