Strange.... but I am sure they know what there doing... If to all of us it looks like a bad idea I am sure itwill to them... so there is reason for it.

not as far off as you might think, they already have a platform for microsoft windows 64bit edition... a friend of mine has a beta of it..

Windows 64bit is available for production PCs, the OS has been out for a while. My point is, you'll have a hard time finding software that runs on the platform as it isn't heavily supported.

But 32bit stuff runs fine on 64bit... I am using it now. But you have to movewith the times... if we did not we would still be in 16bit now....
Alot of companys are now making 64bit things... HL2 and CT: Sourse have just had 64bit mods so it shows its being wanted more now for game companys to be doing it.
I myself have not seen much inprovment from 32bit to 64 but thsts nothing as half the shit I use is 32bit based

Adobe said in a nterview taht they are moving to 64bit. Id expect it around the same time as vista.

I think they will do what linux suse did and have both 32bit and 64bit..... But we will see.... Prob info online on it
