This is so LOL.
We bought a Villa in a community, most of them were unsold when we moved in. Now they've been sold we find the rest have been sold to russians. We already have a few russian families in the complex, one next to our neighbour whom is complaining because every night the russians play really horrid russian polka style music and he can see them dancing through their windows. The russian kids climb up walls and the community pool house where the pumps are located.
This is seriously LOL.

Spain is very expensive, it's now more expensive to live in than the UK and jobs are really hard to find. As for what it looks like, I managed to find a few pictures of the area I live in, they are kinda bad quality and don't show much of it. Anyway...

I live in an exclusive area on the Costa del Sol. I'm sure the people you know moved to Costa Blanca where the prices are Del Sol 7 years ago.

Hmm that looks like a pretty damn nice area. But im not sure what you guys consider "expensive" over there. What is the median price for homes over there?

Well, I know we got a great deal on our place. It's a 5 bedroom villa of 240SQM and cost $506,000 US. This was before this end of Riviera del Sol went up in price, because back then it wasn't a particuarly desired area. This place is now worth around $603,000 US. They are cheaply made places, beautiful but many shortcuts in construction have been taken to sell them off cheaply and they need to be rectified.
Otherwise, a top selling urbanisation which is regarded as fairly cheap because the area isn't very good is;

Spain has gone down in price A LOT, but it is still very expensive to buy and wages have remained the same. I could never afford my own place in a million years.
The only cheap things around here nowadays really are booze and ciggarettes.

Once again, we're far from rich. My mom does real estate, pretty much the only thing Spain has going for it in terms of work. Our place is mostly mortgaged as it's impossible to afford buying over here with earnings as low as they are.
