I've been dissecting the Firefox source code over the last couple of days, and found the whole thing is basically written in W3C compliant java. I plan on making a customised version for HGF, where we have RSS feeds, site searches for disturbedfilms, homegrownforums etc, usefull links already built into favourites and a few other usefull features. Would anyone be interested in downloading and using this? I'll only be able to compile it for Windows and Linux as I havn't a fuck how Mac works, but maybe I'll eventually try get it to work on the Mac platform. Feedback please?

I'd use it, sounds like an excellent idea. Having a shit load of hg group sites already in favorites sounds good.

Yer that sounds really good, will it still have all the features of firefox but with added hgf bits?

Nah, I'll just mod the existing firefox browser, change the images modify and add some new features with default support for homegrown sites.

Yeah, I'll use the latest firefox releases and recompile whenever a new version is out.
