We built a camera crane

Ok as we are starting out zombie movie soon we needed to build a camera crane. This is a video of a prototype crane just have not long built. The next crane we are building is going to be bigger and run smoother, and fasten to a real tripod. For the moment we have hooked it up to a normal TV but we will be getting a LCD for it soon,

It was a bit shakey though in the video, but you'll probably just need to practice using taht shit.

A crane cost over £200 to buy and we built it for £25

but the reason we built it is cuz we need a to build a 20 foot crane for our movie, and you cant buy them that big

We have plans to build a camera dolly and put the crane on tracks

That would be cool, they use those on the Xgames and stuff, for like when they need to follow the MotoX or BMX dirt and stuff. The movie should be good.

its a movie, not a skit, it will be 30 mins long and we have alreay writen it, and I cant wait to start filming the fucker (we start in about a month)
