hello everyone
so I bought the cam today its a sweet cam and shit but I have some problems with it that maybe someone in here can help me with
I checked all the manuals and shit and I couldnt find the answer for it
so here is the problem
when I wanted to film something I realised that something wrong with the zoom so I did a zoom out untill the end and still its a too much zoom in
after that I played with the buttons and switched it to a still card when I did that I saw the perfect view and when I change it back to tape to film videos it changing it back to a zoom in
god I hope people will understand my question and could find an answer for it
if you didnt understand something just asked
please help me

I dont understand how that can happen, but just use a fisheye, if you cant fix it. Well I would.

let me refrace that
I want to film a video
I zoom out till the end
I point the cam to a person from 2 meters from me
I see only his face
but when I switch the cam to a still card option I see a full good looking view

maybe you've got digital zoom turned on? If so use analog zoom.

no I already filmed with the cam
the colors are fucking amazing and the camera is the shit im telling you all the problem is the zoom thiungy which I dont know how to change

That sounds like a camera malfuction man. Did you get it that way, or did it work fine at first? The only advice I can give you is try pushing the "reset" button if it has one. Or on the off chance that it's in demo mode...

no I bought it today from a stranger for 270 $
she looks new like shit
I filmed this with a fisheye which wont make a real fisheye effect cause the zoom thingy

this happened to my hi8 cam after years of abuse. One day I dropped it and it finally gave in, and the zoom and focus were all fucked up. No matter what it wouldnt zoom out. Im pretty sure its an internal error.
Not very smart buying from a stranger man.

I still need help
I turned of the digital zoom to off
zoomed out and still its fucking horrible
I even attached a fisheye to it and still it looks like there is no fish at all
