Ok, ive downloaded HL2, and OMG is it fucking HAWT
but anyway, lastnight I got the the part with that girl takes you down the elevator, but sdhe just stood there and did fuck all? so I loaded a save game up, and tried again and this time it worked.
Well today ive at another elevator bit, and again the fucking girl just stands there (like she is waiting for me to get in) but once im in the elevator she doesnt move, and ive loaded the save game 3 times already... anyone else had this problem?

Its seriosuly kickass, the good thing about me was I bought it, and I have got to the bit with the hovercraft and haven't played in about 4 months because I don't have any free time.
I know I will get into it so bad, not to mention I have a fast computer and can set all the graphics to full and it'll run great. (Showing off Image file not present in the recovered backup )

yup same here, ive got a good pc that I keep offline all the time, and this one im on now is a bag o wank, so thats why I use it for the net....
dude, you got to get past the hovercraft bit, it picks up big time after that...
Lastnight I was on the hovercraft bit, and I saved it and went to bed, and since ive got past that and ive not been able to fucking stop.....

I love the atmosphere within the game, like it makes you feel like you're really involved. And it sounds even better coming out of the mother fuckers

yeah you downloaded it... afew bugs in it that need steam to fix.
Just buy it man... Its like 20 quid here and you can find it cheaper online. And then you have a working version and you get source with it so online fun.
I have it but still have not played it (Have for about 10mins)

Shit yeah, ive set my tv up via S Vide to play the game so ive got a bigger screen, and now have said about the sound, im gana huck my amp up to it as well

thats the odd thing tho, im not a gammer at all... the only other game I used to play is GTA SA, apart from that I never game.
I dont even own a xbox or ps... I just have my kick ass SEGA MEGA DRIVE....

Dude that game kicks ass! Tom the hoverboat thing is one of the hardest parts of the game but WKH is right once you get past that its truely mega! I got up to the final boss and couldnt do that

I thought the last boss of HL2 was so much easier than the one on the first Half-Life. You know, the giant baby thing who's head opens up and you have to jump on the pods to shoot his brain. The gravity gun on the last level rules though.

Hmm the hardest part of HL2 I would have to say would be Nova Prospectk.

I think the parts with the Striders are the hardest. I mean, they take five rockets to kill, and you can only carry three at a time. And your teammates always seem to suck at anything, they just usually end up getting blown to shit.

Now that was a FUCKING good game, I really enjoyed that, just let down a little by the end (I think it should have been harder) but none the less... 10 out of fucking 10
