This is a NTSC Panasonic PV-DV953. It's a low-end 3CCD camera with a retail price of about around $1300. It was very well reviewed by camcorderinfo, you can see the article here - http://cgi.ebay.com/Panasonic-Digital-3CCD...1QQcmdZViewItem

The camera is marked as "New In Box"...but technically it isn't because the box was opened and the camera was "used for "less than an hour". However, don't let that throw you off...because even if this camera has been mildly used...it still could be a good deal.

The camera seems to come with all the proper accessories and plus an additional battery. It also says that it comes with a transferable Circuit City warranty that expires in August of this year.

Right now the bid is at $405.00 and there is 15 hours to go. This is a good sign, however the reserve has not been met. I'm not sure what the reserve is for this camera, but I'd say if you were able to get it for around $700...then you got yourself a good deal. I would not bid more than $800 for this cam.

Im posting this because loads of people have been making threads about wanting to get a new camera. If you got the cash, this is something worth looking into.

Thanks for the link. I'm looking to buy a 3ccd camera cause most of my footage is filmed at night. Would you suggest a Sony camera over a Panasonic for this?

Yes but there are no inexpensive 3ccd sony's. The only ones are the PC1000 and HC1000, both of which have been discontinued
