I installed a new harddrive today in my computer, and I need to use the fdisk command to partition it and the format command to format it and whatnot. Therefore I created an ms-dos start-up disk, but when I try to boot from it (the A: drive) I get the following error:

Replace Disk & Press Any Key
I tried replacing the disk and pressing any key..but of course that does nothing except give me the same error again. So what is the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I am in dire need of the additional HDD space.

Format.
Yep, the only way to successfully partition a disk is to format it prior to the partitioning, otherwise it'll give an error. I reccomend NTFS.
And the arcade will be installed sometime reasonably soon.

I presumed he meant a slave drive? If so, yeah use your Windows CD. Floppies are useless.
