ok I went to capture footage from a newyear party I was at, but it wont accept the tape, the tape kept getting stuck then I tryed a different BRAND NEW tape and it just wont go down... I push it in and it pops back out... any tips, or ideas?
and now... even with out a tape it goes down, stops , goes down, stops, and goes down again.

Do you use different brands?
It's bad for cameras to switch many brands as different brands have different types of tape. Some are wet, but others are dry.

yeah I do.... but not usualy the 2 I tryed are different kinds...
but not it like wont even go in it just pops it right back out.... both kinds.
could it be my cameras cold or something it feels kinda cold.

Did you take it inside from the cold into the warm house really quickly?
That'll cause condensation, which is really bad for your camera. Next time wrap it in a sweatshirt or something if you don't have a case, before you bring it inside, so you can take it out of the sweatshirt an hour later and it wont be such a huge temperature change.

but will the condensation go away.... I have a waranty for my camera anyways but do you think it will be fine?

You have a warrenty? Then why even make a thread
If I had a warrenty I would carry my camera around my neck on a candy necklace and light it on fire when I needed to cook somthing.

When I can buy cams like I buy faygo I'll be playing camera baseball and camera pool, fuck I'll play kick the camera.

well I treat mine like my uncancerous ball becasue I cant afford a newone, and ive wanted one for soooo long. Even though I have a wrrenty that would be cameras less for like a week or more which sucks.

It should've. If he tries it now it should accept tapes with no problems.

Yeah its the condensation thing... I've had it happen to me lots... if you turn it on it'll tell you and automatically turn off. What you should do is open it up take the tape out and let it dry out... it can take 1 hour up to 2 days depends how bad it is.
