Couldn't imagine the pain of being told your loved one had survived the mining incident after you'd thought they had died and then finding out they had in fact died. Horrible miscommunication.

they were lead to beleive they'd be dead, then they were told that they were alive, then they were told they're dead.

I actually founf it so hard to watch the news and see how happy they were when they thought their kids were alive.
Its a sad accident, and I cant imagine how horrible it must have been.

yeah and some asshole wanted to sue when it wasn't even the companies fault. what a greedy bastard, using an incident like this to suck up money. why make matters worse, first you gotta go through the hard times of getting over something like this and you wanna cause more stress by going to court over it.

thats some crazy shit, stay in school it prevents dieing in a mining shaft!
these people knew the risk they were taking when they got a shitty ass job like that, it happened like 2 years ago with another group of people but they all survived. It's sad that they got their hopes up but if my loved ones were trapped in a tunnel 2 miles underground I wouldn't have much hope for real

right, other people are raped, beaten, tortured, shot, beheaded, burned alive, chocked out, and/or gutted. But suffocating in a mine is much much worse, so the media has to pick it up on every channel and let the world know how awful it is.
The media was on this well before the miscommincation mind you.

Yes, but its impossible for the media too report on EVERY inndident isn't it. This involved alot of people, so it's more news worthy. You cannot expect the media to show every death.

I dont. Im saying this isnt important. The reason the media hopped on this was because they had the ability to film it in realtime, which drags in more viewers.
