I don't care, but I care if I'm getting sued for something I could prevent.

The name actually was made to begin with because I didn't care about a name. Plus it kinda makes fun of all those people who are like "I don't care about anything", they're truly retarded.

Fucking doubt it, but I want to know if it's illegal to stick them everywhere in public..?

Not if you say it wasn't you and they can't prove it was. Innocent until proven guilty, right?

You wont get in trouble, and if your concerned about the sticking in public thing, just say you gave 1000's away at a concert and people must have stuck them around.

yeah but if a cop sees you posting up a sticker, although they most probably wont do anything except tell you to take it off, they can legally arrest you, the law for graffiti is 'The illegal application of a medium to a surface' The sticker being the medium, sticking it on a wall that isnt yours is the illegal application (obvs)

Arresting somseone for putting up a sticker would cost the city/county more in court cost than the person would pay in fines. I would never take someone in for somthing so idiotic.

That seems pretty cheap, I'm gonna do the math and maybe order some, are you just doing 250?

Edit: If my calculations are correct Image file not present in the recovered backup , each sticker would be 15 cents [nz]

Same fine as graffiti, they still take people in for that dont they? I no they do from first hand experience.
But yes obviously you wouldnt be arrested, just saying that you CAN be, mayb if an angry cop caught you, or you get smart to the officer.

Graffiti is considered vandalism where I work. There is a big difference in the laws eye of someone who slaps a sticker on a wall apposed to one who spends an hour spray painting a wall. If I catch you tagging a wall, your going to jail for a felony (over $500 worth of damage).

Although in a non professional sense I think tagging is a very cool art form and some of the stuff I have seen is amazing coming only from a can of spray paint.

dgodlewski; How would you determine how much a piece of graffiti costs in damages? A lot of paint can be taken off with some sandpaper then painted over. But why are specialist cleaning companies called out that cost lots of money?

Of course someone who owned the property damaged could easily clean it off themselves but that is not the "American" way of dealing with things. I determine the damages to be over 500 based on the fact that the person whose property was damages will call a company to clean it and I have yet to hear one that charges less then 500 bucks. When the person who tagged the wall gets to court they will not only be charged with the crime it self but also will have to pay restitution, which is basically paying the victim/owner money to cover damages, and 9 times out of 10 the restitution that the judge orders the criminal to pay is well over what the actual cost would be so the owner makes money on the deal.

Hope this answered your question, all in all the american court system is fucked up.

People who tag residencial walls deserve to be fined, where we bought a house someone sprayed the exterior community walls with their tag, it looked ugly and workers needed to be called in, paint matched up and the wall partially repainted. With a sticker, it's trivial as it doesn't cause any property damage.
