I was watching the retardz homegrown preview

seriously I don't know if it's just me, which I am almost sure it is cause most of you are such nut riders you wouldn't disagree with marc even if I was right on this one. But honestly if you watch the preview of the retardz for the homegrown collection, I was watching it last night and I really was watching intentively cause it is a great video but there are 2 common things in EVERY FUCKING SCENE and I mean every single one but like maybe 2 really fast clips, and those clips are so fast they must show atleast 100 different scenes and there are 2 re occuring things

1. a piece of wood (usually a piece of flat plywood)
2. fire (either a piece of wood on fire or some sort of fire made of wood)

did anyone else notice it and is that just the theme for the little vid or whats up

I would like to hear marcs opinion on why there is no variety, I imagine he is just saving his versatility for the dvd or maybe there is other style things in the section he sent. I want a explanation and I want to know if anyone else noticed that?

Why does it matter?

If it entertains then it doesn't matter does it?

I think he said it was from just a few days of filming, so I'd guess that's why there's less variety.

1. weekend of chaos is in the video featuring DR which was mostly table stunts
2. theres a fire mixup in the dvd
3. its mainly footage already scene

but I agree not much variety at all....I had two themed mix ups. table stunts & fire 'sparky' mixup. the 3rd mixup is random and mostly unseen old skool

but yes I didnt want to give anything away from our dvd as I cant film anything new due to the accident so im not giving it up for £50 to moody

Will the accident footage be in the DVD?

I wouldnt mind if the Retardz DVD was covered in stuff like that, its what I like to watch.
But im sure there will be alot of variety in the DVD.

Its also one of my favourite videos, the qaulitys so nice, did anyone notice the Moody thing in between? Haha, nice little joke.

yeah 1st mixup was from me,louzy hero,jaymz and lozerkid

the 2nd mixup is from our lost tapes and the 2nd time me and DR met up and some new stuff mixed in

the 3rd is the weekend of chaos, the 1st time I met DR...

oh and I wasnt able to get all our tapes before moody wanted the project edited by..so it took along time but was rushed alot

at the end of the day I feel its an entertaining section...iv showed previews too afew outsiders and group members and they felt it gave a good impression of what stunts we can do and its fun to watch

so im happy :-) but worried moodys gunna cut some stuff out

I think you'll find most groups making a real dvd save there best stuff for it. you dont see weak putting his dvd out on the web, hes smart...and if anyones a fan of ours and likes our shit, they wont mind paying £10 to own a dvd packed full of quality stuff than watch it online in low quality for free

Thats a broad generalization dude. And yeah the name is gay, I think we all agree on that, but it's just a word to classify home made videos. The groups I like the most are the ones with a unique style, I love FNC but there stunts arn't amazing, they are just having fun and you can tell and they have a good style.

I am a greedy bastard thats why I would rather sell my shit than give it away, I mean if I was doing skits and was hoping to acheive the ultimate meter fairy acting skills position I wouldn't worry about it, but skits are gay and stunts are painful so if you are sometimes going through misery I don't see why I shouldn't try to make a product if theres people who wanna pay to see it

I gave my shit away for years while other groups "saved" stuff for DVDS.

Either way I dont care, but It pisses me off when some groups save 90% of their best stuff for DVD. Just get your shit out there, if people like you enough they'll buy the DVD.

Haha sound like what DR did, there is soo much we could of saved but we didn't, Anyway back on topic, The full Edit's are fucking wicked, and just to let you guys know, iv sat through 20% the Retardz un-editied stuff and everything iv seen is diffrent, im sure there are going to be one or two stunts that you have never seen before and they will blow you away, people like you buck dont use there brains at the best of times this footage is for Moody why is webb going to waste his time giving him anything new or diffrent, he stuck with a theme that will keep people watching, and people that have never seen retardz will be blown away just like every person on these forums was when webb first put a video out, true the boy can be a cock somtimes but dont all lie to yourself you fear him because you dont realy know what he can do and what he has saved, once you know then make a comment.
