Homegrown meetup final confirmation

This is the final confirmation thread for the UK homegrown meetup.

We have coming so far:



If you are not on the list and wish to come, are almost certain you can come and have the funds to get to Leeds then ask in this thread and we'll consider you.

The meetup is on the 18th of Febuary 2006, people coming to the meetup can arrive no later than 8pm (GMT of course). The meeeting point is in the city center of Leeds, where the train station stops. If you don't know where this is PM MADE or iamarcmason for more detailed information. We shall decide an exact meeting time more towards the time, and mobile numbers will need to be exchanged.

If you can't make it on the 18th, you may come down on the 17th and hang with a few of us for a few drinks before resorting to a B&B for the night. Bring sufficient money and perhaps a bottle of alcohol with you for expensive clubs.

Booking transportation can be done either through your local train company, or you may book it through this coach company: http://www.nationalexpress.com

We reccomend you book ASAP, and also make sure you either e-mail them or phone them before booking the ticket to make sure the coaches run on the day you wish to travel to Leeds and additionally to get an exact location of where the coach leaves from and where in Leeds it arrives.

Please account enough money for your transport to there, a few extra pounds in case you need to get a taxi to the meeting point, a reasonable amount for a split of the cost of a B&B and enough money to drink. Most of us can't afford to lend any money, so make sure you have enough funds otherwise start saving some. You don't need to save an excessive amount, just make sure you'll be fine for a night ot two.

Please only post here if you are SERIOUS about coming, have consulted your parents or partner and plan to act in a nice manner and not cause trouble for the group. This will be an awesome event, I am really looking forward to seeing you guys. let's make this a time to remember!

Edit; Final meeting time on the 18th will be confirmed via PM once we have the times people arrive. Please PM me with your arrival time as soon as you've booked your travel ticket so we can pick the latest time to all meet instead of going there and back.

The reason final times are being confirmed via PM is to stop any unwanted visitors (e.g guests that havn't registered here) pitching.

Matt has to decide on that, but you have to meet the other guidelines. I think his general consensus is you look a little too young for this.

You can PM your numbers to MADE by entering his name in the "To" field when you write a new PM in your control panels. Viewing profiles was disabled for members to prevent abuse of the system.
