Ive been working on this video now for the past few days, for many, many hours.

And its started to mess up, started of ok, then it was just annoying, now its unbearable.

The main problem is, is when I try to drag a video clip into my timeline, it just freezes, and I have to shut it down, not responding, that thing.
So I do, and sometimes it will autosave it, but its now unbearable, I can sometimes get them working, but the ones I need to drag in dont work. It just messes it all up.

And its not just the files, Ive tryed recording them on and still the same problem.
The video is a mixup of CZW, its over 10mins I think now, thats not the reason though is it? Its not slow or anything.

Well anyway, can anyone help me? as anyone had this problem before, is there a patch for it?
Im using V6.0.
Thanks.

EDIT: Now I cant open the project :(

sounds like something pinnacle would do...lol

I dont have vegas, but Id suggest not running any other programs whilst using it, or maybe deleting some useless files on your computer.

It could just be that you have a lot of things going at the same time... close everything.

Or it could just be a shitty version of vegas.. I dont think there would be a patch for something like that.

yeah thats exactly what pinnacle does to me its a total bastard. Also any footage that ive captured over the last couple of months wont have any sound in pinnacle, and if I put them in the time line with clips the do have sound, when I save it sthe sound fucks off and its really annoying me now.

havn't got a clue why its doing it so sorry I cant help you, but I just wanted you to know I feel you pain Image file not present in the recovered backup

Thanks for the help guys.
Ive tried just running it on its own, just with my Antiviruses running.

The project is loading now, I was going to just just start the last bit again in a new project, as im just a few short hours away from completion. But even when the timeline was clear it still fucked up.

Say I deleted a few of those .sfk files vegas creates, that doesnt affect it, right!???? :(
But, even when I create a new project, like I said, it does it again.

I might try reinstalling, I hope it works.

Ok reinstalling didnt work.

But, Ive just tryed them all in Vegas 4.0 and they work, no errors or anything, but is there anyway I can convert my vegas 6 project, to a vegas 4 project? would that work?
Please Help.
