I have a question. When I went to save my video using Sony Vegas 5, I am saving it as a MPEG2. With the video being almost 10 minutes, It takes about 1 hour + to save on my pc for some reason. Now, When I went to Render As and I went to Video Quality. It is automatically set on "Good" but I can change it to, "Draft, Preview, Good, or Best". I choose Preview and it takes about 20 minutes to save instead of an hour. Does this make the quality look alot worse or something because I really can't tell the difference between Preview and Good. Is it fine if I just save it as Preview?

Just experiment man. render till you get what you like in terms of video quality/file size.

I usually leave it at "good", then go to the video setting and take the quality from 90% to about 65. That leaves a decent quality video image, and the file size isn't massive.

It always takes a long time to render to .wmv, because it's compressing the file n shit.

Though it will save it faster, (not by a whole lot), if you have everything pre-rendered before you render it to a .wmv.

An hour? wtf. Sounds like a system upgrade to me.
