I agree with skipper, nice editing and stuff, the cheesy lines were gay and personally I would expect more seeing as you all look pretty old. But good overall and I like the massive cliff jumps!

I just looked at your site and you could do with completely changing that and the DVD cover, they're both so simple and boring. Doesn't really show what your all about.

The trailer was alright though didnt see anything which I wouldnt personally do myself-For example I would pay to do cliff jumps, anyway you have to put stuff in adverts that others watch and think holyshit I wouldnt do that in a million years.

Although I am just being harsh cos the stuff you did was good and it was put together nicely and you are thinking big scale instead of trolleys and all that jackass/cky shit everyone does, which is a nice change.

So good job but it could do with a few more extreme clips. Also it was nice to see someone get hit with a big dildo in the face!
Well done

I'm pretty sure I have seen the trailer before. Have you posted it on CKYforums before? But I like some of the stunts, and I don't't think that there's anything wrong with those cheesy lines. And that sledding on the ice, reminded me a little bit of what we did last summer although I was just being pulled without a sled and... just with a sweater and a pair of boxers on.
I liked your trailer. And I thought that those cliff dives were awesome too.

Yeah I hate our DVD case. All it is is a shadow of a dildo and a little bit of text. I have no idea what to put on it. There is nothing that really defines us. Everything is random and a bit of everything.

We're not really a stunt group. I don't't usually plan many things that people would say "Holy fuck I ain't doing that." Although, we do occasionally like to do that crazy stuff. Our focus is pranking people. Doing weird things. Being gross. The trailer totally doesn't reflect that part of the DVD. Yes there's action but not as much as it looks like. We are about little, funny stupid things. If you were to compare it to CKY, you would say this is an attempt to bring back Raab himself and the Bran drive-thru like pranks and stuff. A lot of people claim they're "stunts and pranks" but I haven't really come across that much for pranks. I won't even say we do "stunts." That's why it's acts of fun instead.

And yes. I think our first DVD is weak compared to the second coming out. There's footage in there from nearly 4 years ago, back when Bam was just starting this whole new generation of films and wayyy before I even saw CKY. I didn't even see it until after the movie was already being made.

Yeah those lines are pretty cheesy. But you know what? It's not like the DVD is completely serious either. A lot of it has that subtle comedy from doing stupid things and acting like it's a serious thing.

This was posted on CKYforums. For a second, I thought this forum was the same thing since the layout is so similar. Ah well, makin sure I'm getting all the opinions I can. Sometime or another I'm gonna get the DVD cover changed. We've had about a hundred sales now but good change shouldn't cause any problems. :)

The new trailer (for the second movie) should be coming out soon. I'm sorting through most of our footage and planning out a decent layout. Hopefully I can fix up the webpage at the same time. I think it sucks too. It's hard doing everything yourself these days on top of college and work.

Anyway, I need to shut up. So work on the site, change the cover, and blow people away with Dudanation 2. Sounds simple enough. Anything else? :) Thanks guys.

I think Cheesy lines are funny, amateur style. And content is chilling, makes the feel "lets have fun and film it and put it to an movie". too many groups have forgot that that what its allbout, I can feel the fun you had making that.

I kind of agree with you, but at the same time when your making it for an audience, DVD (not saying this applies to Dudanation), you have to satisfy them, the customer if you will, you can't just make something for fun when your selling it to people, they buy it and it's shit, can you?!

That trailer was pretty uninteresting.

Do a couple cheesy lines really make this trailer look like it was just for fun?

gazaa, what is it that was uninteresting? The content? The music? the editing?

Yeah I'm not saying this is just some video we threw together having fun doing it all the way. It was actually a pain in the ass most of the time. Although, seeing the final work in the end was definitely satisfactory. I have yet to hear from someone telling me that they hated the actual DVD itself. Even the Gardner Police are pre-ordering the 2nd and telling me they want the 3rd; not to arrest us for the shit we do but because they think it's hilarious. (There are skits and pranks written up for a third movie which may go through if we get enough cash to tour America. I'm a work-a-holic so the tour bus will most likely happen next summer.)

Trailers are hard to make for everyone. You can't capture the sillyness and seriousness and cool scenes and funny scenes all in one 2-3 minute video. If you get it all in there, it's either too choppy or too long. The music I used for this one prompted me for more action scenes and although I don't think this DVD was loaded with action there definitely was some. The 2nd one currently has more action than expected so it'll probably happen that way again with the trailer.

Now that I'm on that topic. What do you guys think of the music?

I just hate people releasing a DVD while they still suck so much butt, it makes me pissed. I mean, I release a pretty big 15 min long video a while ago with some random footage in it. I could have made a 40 min DVD if I wanted to but I just don't want people to pay money for it cause I feel it's not good enough, I only want to release a DVD when I know it's good enough, if it isn't, I'll just put it online being downloadable and I don't get why some of you people don't do the same cause well, you have to learn from all the editing and filming you do and you'll know when you're ready to make a DVD. If you've been filming random stuff for 3 years it just isn't good footage to make a DVD out of. Of course you can use them for mix clips but big pranks, skits and stunts for DVD's have to be planned, cams have to be in good angles + not shake etc etc.

Who said it insn't good? The worst I'd say about it is the next one is gonna kill it. Just like the 3rd is gonna kill the 2nd. That's the way movies run. (Or should, Hollywood rarely impresses me with sequels)

I see your point about not trying to make a movie with crappy footage but there is no movie that can go for a full hour 100% of the time impressing people or making them laugh the whole time. If you don't have anything in it that isn't really amazing over all the other scenes, none of the scenes are going to be exciting. Sometimes it takes weaker footage just to make the big scenes thrilling enough.

And I missed something when I said filming for 3 years. Most of the footage is from year 3. The first year has about 40 seconds or so in the movie, if even that. And most of it is intro stuff. I was only trying to point out that I'm not a CKY copier. There is a lot of footage we never used and never will cuz even I think the footage is terrible lol.

I consider a first movie practice in its own. Just because a movie is awesome doesn't mean it's going to explode in popularity. You need the voice in the crowd first. CKY only got there with the first two shitty films because there was no crowd yet; Bam started it all. He's one lucky bastard to be 3-5 years older than us.
