Well im making my new site and I want all my images SAFE!!
So when people try and save the images some thing pops up and sez ya cant save it..
Ive seen this on a few websites..
Does anyone know how to do this?

There's no foolproof way to protect your images unless you watermark them, which in a way makes them look crap especially if they're small.
The method you're talking about is a javascript script which disables right clicking. A search on google will help you, but this doesn't stop people from print screening and cropping the picture for themselves.

Thats it disabling right clicks..
Im not assed about people print screening.

You can get around those filters easily by right clicking and pressing enter at the same time..

You cant. You can disable right click so they cant save as... but when you go on any site the pics are downlaoded to your computer anyway... so there there.
Also there are easy ways around right click stop anyway.... But I guess it will stop quite afew people as most people suck at computers.

Yeah but you can't do that with just Java can you?
Link me to an example... I'm not following you..

Oh right... I was thinking of when you right click and those shitty pop-ups come up saying "No right clicking"...

yeah you can do taht also. But I hate them

they bug people cos people try to right click to downlaod movies.... if nothing happens then they dont care... if they see a mesage they think FUCK YOU THEN

if they really wanted the pictures they would print screen

No point in printing screen... the whole jpg/gif/png file is already on your computer.... Just need to go into temp files.
Of you can also highlight the pic and then press the mini menu button (between CTRL and ALT GR or Windows buttton one the right) and it will let you save as.
there is no real way unless you watermark

Watermark is really annoying though... and you have to pay..
24 November 2005, 14:04 UTC#14
No. just get a program. But you can use some PHP scripts to auto watermark your files.... But id only ever watermark images that are BIG and NOT website images. You can also code into images marks so you know if it was stolen. I think the program is called BATCHEYE but I am not 100% on that... been ages since I used it.

What images do you have on this new site that you don't want stolen anyhow?
I'm intregued..
