HGF DVD

I reckon HGF should put together a best of DVD, maybe not right now but get like all the best videos and make a DVD, you know it would sell loadz. But get a well good editor to put it together and like mass proudce it, that would be cool! Just a suggestion.

I think solo projects are better...

agreed, alot of people dont like other people to edit their stuff.

nice idea mate. why cant we just edit our best stuff, then send it to gazaa or whatever? it would work, i think...

this has been tossed up and thrown around heaps of times with the HGs at ckyforums and nothing ever got done...

I love the idea. It has been brought up and put back so many times though. Will be great when it finally happens.

As rule I'd say:
If you'd send in footage:
- We won't own rights over the footage, it will ONLY be used for the DVD or a HGF promo clip.
- You will not receive money for it (and believe, it will only cost us more than we'd receive for it so don't mock and say YEAH BUT THEN U WILL GET ALL THE MONEY)
- What Im trying to do with the footage is let your homegrown group look like a cool/nice group so you'd probably only get more attention from it.

The only problem we'd have to deal with is MUSIC. I'd need to ask around bands at Purevolume and shit if they wouldn't mind if we'd use their music..

It'd take a lot of time and dedication, also to be able to receive the footage in high enough quality to produce a DVD of would be a challenge in itself. But stil if anyone wants to send footage to kuffi and doesn't have the resources for it, pm either me or kuffi and we'll set you up an ftp account so you can upload whatever you need to.

MiniDV tapes can be send in to me, if wanted I can probably send them back after the process of making the DVD is done.

I think we should make a new thread about this so people who haven't followed this thread can read the rules and all in one eye blink.

Sweet kuffi. Could we just send .avi's over the net to you, to get it sooner.

EDIT: If not a dvd, I think it would be cool if it were maybe a 10 minute clip.on the net.
