Did the HG "scene" cause you to start?

Ok, so when you started filming/editing and putting shit on the internet, were you already a "homegrown" junkie? or did you have no idea?

If you didn't know about the "Scene", how DID you get started? what inspired you to actually do it? ehhhh?

We had no idea people were doing this. We started out with mindless skits that didn't make much sense, and about 6 months in, I discovered "ME6" via consumptionjunction.com. From there, I found the BMMB, then ckf, and realized there's a ton of people filming and shit.

yeah we made littrle videos on digi cams, then I wanted to make a website to share it with some people. Then I found other sites and clicked a link on rebelsofegypt to kyfroums and from there found here.
and now its the hg sence that drives me to make better videos

I filmed skate videos with my friends and it was funny when they crashed. It kinda spawned from that.

I didnt know about HGF or the HG scene before I started.

I use to always fuck about and record shit, then seeing shows like Jackass and CKY it made me do bigger and better shit.

just saw all ball's site one day and found the hunt... then realised my m8s had already joined and joined the team

I started filming skating, then I think somebody had seen one of the CKY's, just one we went out and filmed bush jumps and stuff. That was four years ago, I really can't remember.

I didnt join homegrown till before the hunt 3 but I knew abt it before then. but thats not what started bordumb

We started but just filming random shit, honestly it was just all aload of fun inspired by jackass (damn me for saying that word) and other shit. It then turned out that it would be cool to film it. After making a website and stuff about what we did, M0N0 left a message on our shitty forums. From there I got to the dr site, and from there to hgf. I was so shocked that there were other people just like us filming, I had no idea about this or anything, and it was amazing that there was actually loads of people talking and sharing their memories and experiences and knowledge about filming online. It was immense. I remember saying to callum- "I have found the underground matrix of all the groups like us" lol. It was so goddamn cool.

So if it wasn't for m0n0 we wouldnt exist and be marginally better than we ever were then. Thankyou again m0n0. *kisses*

I've always been a big fan of Jackass, Dirty Sanchez and CKY.

Gadd and I used to film shit with my webcam.

Then I found ckf and discovered the hg scene there, mainly inspired by BI the local felons and No mercy to do this shit.

We were Inspired by CKY mainly, we started filming about a month or so before I knew about HGF. We started out not so bad, went filming alot, but never got any serious footage, I started searching around for other stunt videos, I found a few sites and got linked to here from somewhere.

I was a guest for about 2weeks before joining, and I joined around the time of the RetardZ site trailer, I watched that, and was inspired, we realized how shit we where doing, compared to them (and probaly still are) and to other groups, so HG kick started the way we film. Now it's like a habbit.

I think one day I was searching "jackass" on google, then came up "this is bill" and that influced me then thats how I found out ckf then eventully HG forums, this was around 2002.

I had been a fan of CKY but never really did any stunts. Then I really got into the Indecline videos such as Bumfights and that put my mind towards video editing. Then some friends told me about the Hunt3 and as we were about to something similar to the hunt, we just did it instead.

THC was doing it for a while then we found all the outher gorups on tha net..

we have been doing skits and shit just never filmed it, then we got into skating, then I got a cam and filmed it, then I found out about ckf

I started fimling shit because of the Tom Green Show then it escalated into stunts...I guess there were some crews around at that time but im not sure.

yeah... I was inspired by jackass... we filmed stuff when jackass first came out.. on my crappy ass camera. Then I was bored and searched Jackass on google just like Dale but I found Triple O.. I loved there videos and from there I got pickled eggs and no mercy and such. I was a fan of homegrown for the longest time.. then decided to make a group.

when we first started filming shit there was probably only 2 or 3 other groups on ckf...

I originally signed up at ckf just to talk shit about other groups. Ive been doing this since I was 14.

Although....ckf and hgf have absolutely been my main source of motivation to make a website and release clips..and do better editing. Ive learned a shitload from being on here, and Ive improved tremendously...and I attribute that all to the forums.

I got a hi8 cam for christmas, and me and some freinds started filming the shit we did, didnt think anything would come of it, and one day I was browsing BIs site, I remember thinking I wanted to do shit like that, I was watching their vids and I saw they did a vid in a mall, I was like NO WAY THATS MY MALL...HOLY SHIT. emailed boner saying I lived near by and shit but I think I weirded him out talkin bout my dick ring n shit lol. then I found ckf through their site, then I posted a vid on there and mullet and boner said hey lets chill n film shit. 2 weeks later im in BI.
wierd turn of events huh.

duran that's a sweet story. That would be the coolest thing ever to see guys doing what you love to do... in your own home town. I'm glad you joined boredom induced though.

We started off not knowing about HG at all really....we first started doing shit 'trigger happy tv' style when we were younger then moved more into stunts, inspired by jacakss and cky as much as I hate to admit it....then we started doing skits aswell...and thats tht.

I saw some of Aarons videos.. started talkin to him and hangin out with him.. then when CustomScar.com got shut down.. I told him we should keep it going.. so we did.. and here I am.. But I really had no idea about HG or HGF until Aaron told me and showed me...

my mates new about it but I didn't it's not till the group came to an end I discoverd this site.

Well Kellye doesn't know shit about how BorDumB started... Myself, Raymond, and Matt, started off doing stupid stuff without a camera, you know, stupid shit you do when you're 11. Meanwhile Mike was donig stupid shit with his friends.Well before we heard the name Bam Margera or Johnny Knoxville. Then about 3 years ago, we met Mike, who started to record with his at the time GF's camera. Then Mike went to Eastland Career Center (vocational school) for filming and shit, and we started making vid's. Then came the site with the forums. Cullen and Held from the FF got on there and introduced us to HGF and we found out all of you bastards stole our idea of making movies!!!!! Just kidding...
